Fizzy Pomegranate Water

Low Calorie Lemonade

Ingredients
o    1 cup non-fat milk
o    1 ripe banana
o    1 pack Swiss Miss diet cocoa mix
 
Directions
1.    Take one cup nonfat milk, add a ripe (or overripe) banana (or one-half banana) and one packet of Swiss Miss diet hot cocoa.
Ingredients
16 Ice Cubes
4 Cups Seltzer Water
0.25 Cup Pomegranate Juice
4 Lime Wedges

Directions
Fill 4 Cups with 4 ice cubes each.
Add 1 Tablespoon of pomegranate juice.

Fill the Remainder of the glasses with seltzer water.
Garnish with lime wedges (and straws) and serve.

o    3 1/4 cup cold water
o    1/2 cup lemon juice
o    1 x sugar substitute


Directions
1.    * sugar substitute is either 4 to 8 envelopes or 1 ½ t or to taste.

Combine ingredients; mix well. Serve over ice.

Garnish as desired to make 1 serving: combine ¾ cup cold water, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, and 1 to 2 envelopes or ½ teaspoon liquid sugar substitute.

Serve over ice and enjoy!

DISH OF THE WEEK
Diabetic-friendly Low-fat Sweet Potatoes with a Hint of Orange

Ingredients
2 pounds sweet potatoes, cooked
2 tablespoons margarine, melted
½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
16 apricot halves, dried
orange slices, fresh

Directions
Arrange the sweet potatoes in a shallow baking dish.
Combine the margarine and cinnamon.
Pour over the potatoes.
Arrange the apricot halves on top.
Cover the dish and bake in a 425°F oven for about 15 minutes.
Add the orange slices and serve
